Q: How does the Motability Scheme work?

Getting a car through the Motability Scheme is very simple. Those that are eligible are offered the opportunity to exchange your mobility allowance for a brand new vehicle every 3 years along with many other benefits. Q: Are you eligible for Motability?

If you receive PIP or any of the other eligible allowances, you can put it towards a car on the Motability Scheme. To be eligible to join the scheme, you or the person you care for must receive one of the following Motability allowances and have at least 12 months award length remaining. • Higher Rate Motability Component Of Disability Living Allowance HMRC - As of April 2018, this allowance is £59.75 per week• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (EMRC PIP) - As of April 2018, this allowance is £59.75 per week• War Pensioners Mobility Supplement (WPMS) - As of April 2018, this allowance is £66.75 per week• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) - As of April 2018, this allowance is £59.75 per week

Who is eligible for Audi Motability?
You can utilise any of the following government funded mobility allowances towards a brand-new Audi under the Motability Scheme:
- Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC)
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC of PIP)

Audi Motability adaptations

Hundreds of adaptations are available on the Motability Scheme, ranging from simple driving controls to person hoists that lift wheelchair users into a standard car. Designed to make your motoring experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, the adaptations available can help you drive, get in or out of the car, or stow your wheelchair or scooter.

The most cost-effective way to arrange for adaptations to be made to your vehicle is when you order it. So, when your Audi is delivered it will have the adaptations already fitted. Some adaptations even come at no extra cost.

Our specially trained Motability team can help you establish what you find difficult with your current vehicle. Some issues can be solved by simply choosing the right model, such as an automatic gearbox and a flat-entry boot. Our friendly staff can work with you to find a vehicle that suits your individual needs.

All adaptations are designed to make travelling easier and more comfortable. However, not all adaptations are suitable for every type of vehicle due to the compatibility of the car and the adaptation. It is important to consider what adaptations you need before you choose your Audi.
