Lloyd’s Story: Over Three Decades of Service Excellence
With over 36 years in the automotive trade and more than 30 years at Group 1, Lloyd is a true expert in his field. Since joining in 1995, he’s been at the heart of our Jaguar Land Rover Norwich team, specialising in diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing.
Lloyd’s passion lies in solving complex technical challenges and sharing his knowledge with colleagues. His dedication earned him the title of Technician of the Year in 2009 - a career highlight that speaks volumes about his skill and commitment.
What does a typical day in the life look like for Lloyd?
“At present I deal with diagnostics and repairs on customer breakdowns on both Jaguar and Land Rovers. Also sharing my knowledge when asked by my colleagues. I’m also an MOT tester.”

Outside of work
When Lloyd isn’t under the bonnet, he’s spending time with his wife and their animals - donkeys, chickens, and three dogs. They love dog walks and caravan trips. Lloyd also has a passion for classic VWs, proudly owning a 1967 Beetle and a 1974 Bay Window Camper.
