I want to warn anyone considering Volkswagen to think very seriously before purchasing from them. My vehicle has been off the road since March, and with the Chester branch since June and the experience has been nothing short of exhausting. We have repeatedly struggled to get clear information, meaningful support, or any sense of urgency from the people handling our case. For months, we’ve been left with no ETA, no accountability, and no practical help — yet we’re still paying for a car we cannot use. The stress, disruption, and complete uncertainty this has caused my family has been overwhelming. I would never want anyone else to go through what we have. I’m sharing this as a genuine warning so others can make an informed choice. I wish we had known what the aftercare would truly be like before buying.

Terrible customer service, the I had spoken to 2 agents about the Ford Focus I was interested in and after I had been offered a low trade in I informed them it would be a cash sale. The last person I was in contact with was Anthony who sent me a video clip of the car informing me it had been reduced, I replied asking him to confirm this but I never received a reply. I sent another email letting Anthony know I would be in contact today after getting a better price for my car, I also called. I never got a reply to any of my calls or messages after saying it would be a cash sale and then I noticed it disappeared from my saved adverts in Auto Trader. Very disappointing about the whole dealings. Another thing it was unusual that the car was never displayed on thier website.

The person responsible to inform me about the progress of the works, Kayleigh Hughes, never phoned or send me any text message regarding the further works required on my car. As a result, my car was not ready on Friday the 14th of November as she informed me, and on Saturday 15th in morning I had to go to the Airport by Taxi (and return as well) , and I also lost my car parking booking as it had no refund and was not able to amend to take my other vehicle. A simple text message would've been enough and I would've saved 195£.
On top of this, when she finally called me to inform me that my car was ready to be collected on the 18th of November, she lied to me saying that she had been sending me text messages, unacceptable attitude as no emails neither messages were sent to me. When I arrived to Volkswagen, I was directly approached by another lady to pay an amount higher than what she informed me when I accepted the additional estimated costs. I asked for Kayleigh to at least explain to me the reasons behind this. After waiting for a while, she just said that the price she had informed me was without VAT, which is unacceptable. Actually the value with VAT did not match exactly but I had already lost too much time.
At last , but not least, I remembered I had a courtesy discount from Volkswagen due to a previous issue they had caused to me linked with an Airbag recall, and when I showed the email she complained to me that I should've told her in advanced! That she will had to speak with her manager. Of course this even extended further my waiting time.
In a nutshell: horrible experience, zero customer focus, waste of time, and 195£ lost because Kayleigh did not bother to inform me about the delays.
I will for sure inform Volkswagen UK Customer Services about this.

I have not given 5 stars because when my son & I arrived to buy a car on a Wednesday, there was no-one around at all. Just a lot of the public waiting like us to see someone. However when the salesman, Iwan Davies, did notice us, he was extremely helpful & polite. If it hadn't been for him we would have walked away & tried another dealership, as we had travelled 1 1/2 hours, were tired & the coffee machine was not even working.

I booked online for service and MoT. Your confirmation a day or two before only referred to MoT so I put service as well in the comments. When I turned up your receptionist thought I was only down for an MoT.
