Our Group 1 Maintenance and Repair Warranty is there to support you when the unexpected happens and take away the burden of repair bills whilst also helping you to stay mobile.
Key Features, Benefits and Eligibility
✔ Your Plan: Your Group 1 plan is designed to cover your vehicle for the cost of repair or replacement of covered mechanical and electrical components including labour in the event they suffer a mechanical or electrical failure.
✔ Wear and tear coverage available for vehicles under 8 years old and/or 80,000 miles at point of claim.
✔ Electric Vehicle Cover: Specialist EV warranty options available that can cover DC/DC Convertor, Electric Traction Motor, On Board Charger, Thermal System, Charging Ports & More.
✔ Claim Limit: Your total claim is up to the purchase price of the vehicle, with no maximum single claim limit allowing you to claim as often as you need.
✔ Diagnostic costs: Up to £100 or 1 hour (whichever is lower) for valid repairs.
✔ European Travel: The plan will also provide cover while the vehicle is being used in other parts of the European Economic Area (EEA) if the vehicle is not used outside the UK for more than 60 days in any 12-month period during the duration of the plan.
✔ Factory-Fitted Multimedia Unit/Infotainment Systems
✔ Remote-control and electronic key-fobs

✔ RAC Breakdown: The Cover includes home assist, roadside assistance, national recovery, accident cover, puncture cover as well as emergency EV charging recovery.
✔ Transfer: The plan can be transferred to a new owner if the vehicle is sold privately.
✔ Vehicle Hire: if the recommended repair time is over 8 hours we may contribute up to a maximum of £50 per day (inc. VAT) for up to 7 days towards a rental vehicle

To qualify for this product, you must be:
✔ A private individual & the registered keeper
✔ A UK resident
✔ At least 18 years of age at the time you purchased this plan
Eligibility:
✔ Your vehicle must be unmodified and remain in its original manufacturer’s specification.
✔ Your vehicle must be serviced in line with the manufacturers’ servicing recommendations
✔ You must have a maintenance inspection completed at the start of each one-year period of the plan
Exclusions
This plan does NOT cover:
✔ Vehicles used for any hire and reward such as taxis, courier/delivery or driving school vehicles
✔ Service items, Wear and Tear items, bodywork, handles, hinges, glass or trim
✔ Vehicles where the speedometer or milometer has been interfered with, altered or disconnected
✔ The dismantling of the vehicle to determine the cause of the mechanical/electrical failure, is not covered unless we accept the repair

RAC Breakdown Cover
Alongside your Maintenance and Repair Plan you’ll also get RAC Breakdown Cover for the duration of your Plan. This gives you peace of mind that should your vehicle break down due to mechanical or electrical failure, sustains a puncture or is involved in an accident, RAC will send help to the scene and seek to repair the vehicle at the roadside.
- Roadside & At Home - if you break down at home or at the roadside a patrol will be sent out to repair your vehicle.
- Recovery - if the patrol can’t fix your vehicle on the spot, you, your vehicle and your passengers will be taken to a garage or a destination of your choice within the UK.
- Onward Travel Support – Choose from:
- A hire car for up to 2 days
- Alternative transport (train, taxi, etc.) up to £150 per person / £500 per party
- Overnight accommodation up to £150 per person / £500 per party - Taxi Reimbursement – If your vehicle is recovered to a garage, RAC will cover taxi costs for passengers (up to 20 miles)
- Medical Emergency Assistance – RAC will help arrange accommodation and transport if a driver or passenger falls ill during a journey
- EV-Specific Support - Includes emergency EV charging recovery and support for electric-specific issues
