BMW Teleservices works alongside BMW ConnectedDrive, to provide you with effective and continuous care throughout your BMW ownership.
The next oil change, vehicle check, new brake pads; these are all appointments you no longer need to think about. Just lean back and relax – your BMW knows when it needs a specific service and transfers the relevant service data to BMW fully automatically and according to your vehicle's requirements. Your BMW Service Partner of choice can then conveniently access the data and contact you without delay. With BMW Teleservices and BMW ConnectedDrive you’re free to do what you really want to.
BMW Teleservices never rests. Thanks to the built-in SIM card, BMW Teleservices has intelligent features such as:
- Battery Guard: Left your lights on? BMW Teleservices will notify you via text message if your vehicle's battery is being drained. If there is an unexpected drop in battery while your BMW is parked, it will also send technical data to your preferred BMW Centre, who will then contact you to arrange an appointment to investigate the problem.
- Breakdown Call: If your BMW should run into technical difficulties, BMW Teleservices is there to help, wherever you are. Contact BMW Roadside Assistance using the feature 'Mobile Care', which can be accessed within your BMW iDrive menu, who will receive your BMW's technical data. Once this data has been transferred, a member of the BMW Roadside Assistance Team will process and determine the course of action with you over an established voice connection within your BMW, advising you if it is safe to drive to your local BMW Centre, or if required, a qualified mobile technician will be deployed to your location.
- Automatic Service Call: You never need to remember to book your next BMW service, BMW Teleservices takes care of that for you. Your BMW's condition-based service sensors continually monitor fluid levels and wear-and-tear components. If your BMW needs a service, this data will be sent to your preferred BMW Centre, who will analyse this data and then contact you to arrange an appointment that is convenient for you.
- BMW Teleservice Update: BMW Teleservices Updates allows you to rely on the perfect connection between your BMW and your mobile devices. If a software update for your BMW is available, you can update this while on the road through your iDrive menu, keeping you connected at all times.
